Dr. Noreen Golfman, President of the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences, tells the audience that the Federation "believe that building innovation on a foundation of the humanities and social sciences will help in the formation of richer and more fulsome ideas, and foster deeper, more meaningful and more sustainable innovation that will further the goals of a modern society."
Dr. Ronald Rensink engages the audience in his research on Visual Analytics; an innovation that promises value for all Canadian researchers, and that stands on the foundation of a critical mass of digital content like that accessed through the DCI Project.
